                   CRT MONITOR

CRT stands for Cathode Ray tube. CRT
is the technology used in traditional computer monitors and televisions. CRT was a popular term of a computer display terminal. The CRT works by heating the cathode which causes electron to flow. A cathode Ray tube consists of several basic components.

A CRT is constructed from a glass envelope which is large, deep, heavy and relativel
y fragile. It has better color representation. It is more responsive too. CRT monitors were discovered by Julius Plucker and Johann Wilhelm Hittorf
