CRT MONITOR
CRT stands for Cathode Ray tube. CRT
is the technology used in traditional computer monitors and televisions. CRT was a popular term of a computer display terminal. The CRT works by heating the cathode which causes electron to flow. A cathode Ray tube consists of several basic components.
A CRT is constructed from a glass envelope which is large, deep, heavy and relatively fragile. It has better color representation. It is more responsive too. CRT monitors were discovered by Julius Plucker and Johann Wilhelm Hittorf.
